How to Join 4-H

4-H has lots to do no matter what you're interested in or where you live.  4-H offers programs without regard to race, color, national origin, disability, or handicap.  If you are in grade 1-3, you can join 4-H Prep and get a sampling of what 4-H has to offer. If you are in grade 4-13 (one year out of high school), you can join a "standard" 4-H club, where you focus on one or more 4-H projects. Besides clubs, there are also other ways to be involved in 4-H.

To find out more about what 4-H has to offer, contact or visit the RCE/4-H office in the county where you live.  Some counties even have their own web sites.  If you'd like to join a 4-H club, you can find out what types are available and when and where they meet.  If one doesn't exist, it only takes a helpful adult to be a 4-H leader and a small group of kids who want to learn and have fun together.  Your county 4-H staff can help with the rest!
