Community Partnerships

Community partnerships enable 4-H faculty and staff to work with other youth-serving organizations and agencies collaboratively to meet the needs of local youth. Partnerships are formed with other youth groups, schools, school-aged child care coalitions, housing authorities, departments of corrections, and other agencies, organizations and businesses. Networking with other groups provides opportunities to further extend the outreach of 4-H, while increasing resources available to the 4-H Program.

Current or former partnerships include:

* Phillipsburg Housing Authority
* The Morris County Organization for Hispanic Affairs
* Catholic Charities of Metuchen Social Services Center
* Morristown Neighborhood House
* Manahan Village Resident's Center
* ShopRite
* Mitsubishi
* Gorton's Seafood
* The Alexander Hamilton Development
* Passaic County Court System; Juvenile Justice

If you would like to form a partnership with New Jersey 4-H, contact your county 4-H office or the N.J. State 4-H office.
